Introduction to Soul Restoration: Healing from the Traumas of Racism for US-born African-descended Women

As African American women, every day, in some way, we fight the impact of the legacy of slavery and racism. It is systemic, often subtle and more frequently overt here in the United States. At home, at work, on the street - and in our own minds, bodies, and spirits. And the price we paycan manifest as fear, depression, self-doubt, dependencies or addictions.

It doesn't have to be this way

On Saturday, February 4, the Introduction to Soul Restoration workshop offers you an opportunity to begin confronting and healing your inner and intergenerational scars and reclaiming your soul's true radiance.

We'll begin the workshop by creating an inclusive healing community of support and acceptance. The we start our journey, naming the traumatic occurrences of slavery and looking inward to discover how the effects may have been passed down through our ancestor's DNA to affect our present-day lives and relationships. Once we have recognized how our lives have been affected, we learn a series of simple, valuable, easy to use tools that we can implement for ourselves and share with our loved ones.

About the Soul Restoration Workshops...

This is the first in a three-part series of workshops, focused on healing from the traumas of racism in the present, the future, and the past. See Erva's website for more information on the three levels of Soul Restoration Workshops: http://www.onesourceenergywork.com/
