Astronomy Night at Historic Fair Hill

Friday, April 20 - 7:30 PM - 10:30 PM
at Historic Fair Hill 2901 Germantown Avenue Philadelphia, PA 19133

In partnership with the Franklin Institute, this stargazing event is a family-friendly chance to learn more about our night skies. While we explore the constellations and planets, we’ll also learn about how abolitionists and escaping slaves on the Underground Railroad relied on knowledge of the stars and constellations. Last year 100 people joined us for this event, so invite your friends!

  • Astronomer Denise and a visitor at a telescope
  • Visitors pointing at the sky
  • Jupiter and four of its moons
  • Children look through a telescope

Rain Date: Saturday, April 21, 7:30 – 10:30pm
